About Mark
Craftsman and artisan Mark McLaughlin brings over 40 years of experience to each MDM Builders project, combining construction management skills with well-honed expertise in all phases of construction work: from plumbing and electrical, to detailed wood and masonry finishing. Indeed, Mark is a veritable jack of all trades, whose onsite, hands-on, tough-guy physical nature belies his keen sense for design and an architectural aesthetic that, time and again, help MDM’s clients achieve their desired results.
About Sami
Sami McLaughlin is firstly a writer and an artist, so a construction site might be the last place you’d expect to find her. But Sami is also a multi-sport collegiate athlete. In other words, she’s a stud – pun emphatically intended – who’s been swinging a hammer for as long as she can remember. Sami started out helping her dad stain tables, doors, and cabinets. It wasn’t too long before she was actually building those tables, doors and cabinets as a full-fledged member of the team! With Sami now serving as the driving force behind Solid Furniture, MDM’s next generation is in her strong and capable hands.
